Living Bamboo Coral, Isidella sp., from Warwick Seamount.

The base a living bamboo coral, Isidella sp., from Warwick Seamount. Notice the long tentacles. We call them " hula skirts," because we don't know exactly what they are. They may be defensive “sweeper” tentacles.
