This seastar is climbing a denuded bamboo coral skeleton, feeding on the unprotected polyps.


A sea star climbs a denuded bamboo coral skeleton and feeds on the unprotected polyps. The gorgonaceous nodes are more obvious in this photo. This coral will probably not survive.
