August 23, 2021: Darrielle Williams (center) prepares to pull the release pin for the ultra-short baseline (USBL) calibration mooring that will help the Search for SS Norlindo expedition team follow the position of the autonomous underwater vehicle that will be used to hunt for the shipwreck relative to Research Vessel Point Sur. Darrielle is an intern in the Tuskegee University Ocean Exploration Internship Program supported through the NOAA Ocean Exploration Cooperative Institute.
