Sealaska Heritage Insitute intern Taylor Heaton drives autonomous underwater vehicle SUNFISH during the community demonstration day at Craig, Alaska. The Our Submerged Past expedition team conducted community demonstrations in both Craig and Klawock, Alaska. During the event, members of the local community were able to see AUV SUNFISH in the water, learn about the expedition, and see collected seafloor sediment under a microscope. The community day was a highlight for Taylor.
