While exploring at a depth of 1,754 meters (5,755 feet) during Dive 06 of the second Voyage to the Ridge 2022 expedition, this yellow stalked crinoid was observed overgrown by a pink colonial hydrozoan. This is yet another example of how some organisms in the deep ocean can serve as habitat for other organisms.
