A close look at the polyps of a bamboo coral seen at a depth of 1,163 meters (3,816 feet). As we moved up towards the rim of the sinkhole explored during Dive 08 of Windows to the Deep 2021, we saw a slight increase in life compared to the bottom of the hole, as we observed several genera of corals, a few demosponges, and solitary cup corals.
