Upon arrival at the bottom of the sinkhole explored during Windows to the Deep 2021 Dive 08 at a depth of 1,213 meters (3,980 feet), we observed flat, rippled sand with scattered white carbonate rocks. While we did not observe much life at the bottom of the hole, we did see a soccer ball.
