This beautiful primonid coral measured nearly a meter (3.3 feet) tall. It served as habitat for a range of organisms, including the king crab perched at the top of the coral’s branches. Seen during the second dive of the Seascape Alaska 3 expedition at a depth of 2,230 feet (7,610 feet).
