Aeolid nudibranchs are rarely seen in the deep ocean, yet during the final dive of the Seascape Alaska 3 expedition, we saw two different species – this orange one, observed at a depth of 1,475 meters (4,840 feet), was very visible, while a smaller white nudibranch was seen nestled in a bush of hydroids.
