The deep-sea lizardfish (Bathysaurus mollis) is always a fun find. We observed this fish at a depth of 2,358 meters (7,736 feet) while exploring Trinidad Slump during Dive 04 of the 2023 Shakedown + EXPRESS West Coast Exploration expedition.
