The beauty of a twisting, curling plume as it exits the crater. Throughout the course of dive J2-189, we returned to Brimstone Pit many times, were we witnessed a dynamic and constantly changing site. On our first visit to Brimstone during the dive we found that mild explosive activity was building a new cone of ash and rocks around the vent.
