This video was taken just over ten minutes later, when the rain, seas, and wind had arrived. It is quieter because the video camera is now in its waterproof housing, since it was raining by this time. Notice that we have taken down the vinyl canopy over Roper’s deck, to keep it from tearing in the wind. You can judge the strength of the wind by looking at the small triangular pennant flag whipping from Roper’s mast, visible at the top right of the screen during the middle of the video.
