During the second dive of the Seascape Alaska 3 expedition, at a depth of approximately 2,300 meters (7,545 feet), the team found this interesting Cladorhizid sponge, which may be a new species. The sponge was collected for further study. In the remotely operated vehicle video, another potentially new species of carnivorous sponge that was long and thin was visible, although it was not collected.
